đĄ David Proteinâs Stellar Checkout and Post-Checkout ExperienceÂ
David Protein closed $75 million in funding earlier this month.
Although the protein bar category is highly saturated, David Protein is growing rapidly. The brand offers a protein-to-calorie ratio thatâs higher than most bars, which gives them a competitive edge.
Along with a great product, its site also provides a stellar checkout and post-checkout experience, allowing them to accelerate sales.
Currently, David Protein brings in an estimated $2.3 million through its DTC site.
Here are the Shopify apps they are using:
1ď¸âŁ EG Add to Cart Free Gift: Automatically add a free gift to a customer's cart based on custom rules (e.g. Purchase over $50). This tool is great for upselling during checkout.Â
On David Proteinâs site, they offer customers a free gift (branded merch) once they purchase 3 cartons.
2ď¸âŁ Order Editing: Allow customers to edit their own orders after purchase, saving time for your customer support team.
3ď¸âŁ Stockist Store Locator: This app adds a searchable store locator to your site, supporting in-store sales.
For a product like David Protein, sampling is a great way to gain new customers, so offering an in-store experience is key.Â
